Galaxy Note users have been promised their taste of the icey goodness that is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for some time now.

First scheduled to land in January, users were disappointed to learn the update had been pushed back to “Q2″ 2012.

Well we are happy to report the update has now landed and is slowly making its way around the OTA Globe.

For users too inpatient to wait, maybe Google up Sammobile.com or XDA Developers and manually load away, this does come at your own risk of course.

The update is well worth the almost 700MB download though, bringing much snappier and smoother responses as well as a raft of system and app updates.

The upgraded S Note and S Memo are also very welcomed. There is also a Rooted Kernel already available for the more adventurous as well.
