Telstra Announce The Galaxy Note – Finally

Australia is finally getting the Galaxy Note!
After dragging tongues along the ground watching the rest of the World for what feels like forever, Australia’s major carriers Optus and Vodafone had already announced pricing and availability yesterday.
However now Telstra have come out on their Facebook page and have announced they will release in April, but still have a bit to confirm.
We’re guessing at least the $79 cap with maybe an additional $20 a month handset repayments.
Either way, we’re excited! Watch this space!

Have Samsung Just Trademarked The Galaxy S III Variant Names?

Samsung have been busy in the Trademarks game today, registering three new games we suspect are variants of the Galaxy S III in the US.
Known as Galaxy Thunder, Galaxy Express, and Galaxy Accelerate, these names certainly could lend themselves very well to the forthcoming Quad Core flagship from Samsung.
To add to this, Samsung also trademarked “Galaxy Wallet”. We believe this to be a Samsung branded NFC system, which would be in direct competition with Google’s Wallet system.
We’ll just have to wait a bit longer to see.
